Group steps up its fight to save Indians from death

The Leicestershire Indian Workers’ Association began a campaign for a re-trial into the case of the men who are alleged to have been tortured and forced into confessing after a Pakistani man was killed in the United Arab Emirates. Leicester family hopes charges will be dropped in Punjab case

Amarjit Sohal and his 19-year-old son, Talvinder, of Evington, Leicester, were arrested and jailed on October 3 after an alleged fight.
