Indian Workers Association GB supports Rail Workers

Thousands of Rail Workers are staging a walkout over pay and working conditions under the well-known union RMT.

IWA (G.B) fully supports the RMT Union’s industrial action. IWA (G.B) Leicestershire Branch stood in the picket line with the RMT and workers outside the workplace to let others know why they are taking industrial action.


IWAGB protest in support of Indian Farmers

In Leicester, IWAGB stood with thousands of people who took to the streets in their vehicles in protest of a bill which aims to take away the rights of Indian Farmers. Jallianwala Bagh Remembrance Meeting 2019

The Indian Workers Association (G.B) and Kohinoor Radio (97.3 FM) is holding a special meeting in remembrance of 100 Years since Jallianwala Bagh & 35 Years since the 1984 Sikh Massacre. There will also be discussions on child grooming concerns, local policing issues, immigration and community cohesion. The Meeting will take place on Sunday 16th June 2019 @ 1.30pm, Kohinoor Radio Conference Hall, 308 St Saviour Road, Leicester, LE5 4HJ. The self-proclaimed spiritual healer has been found guilty of conning victims out of hundreds of thousands of pounds. Mohammed Ashrafi scammed 18 people in Leicester after targeting people with personal problems, illnesses or financial difficulties from a home in Babingley Drive in the city.
