Celebrating the Opening of the Indian Visa Centre

By Leicester Mercury  |  Posted: December 04, 2013

Indian Workers Association (GB) Leicestershire is pleased to celebrate the opening of an Indian visa office in Leicester after more than 20 years of relentless campaigning for this cause.

This is a great victory for us and all who campaigned to open this office in Leicester.

We started the campaign on May 9, 1993 at Highfield Community Centre.

The office will be of huge benefit for the Asian population in Leicester who are used to travelling to Birmingham for Indian visa and passport services.

It will also be of great benefit for all of those in nearby cities such as Nottingham, Derby and Peterborough.

Sital Singh Gill, general secretary, Indian Workers Association (GB), Leicestershire, speaking on the Leicester Visa Centre.

The Indian Visa Centre in Leicester is open now at the Peepul Centre. More information can be found here: http://www.peepulcentre.com/indian-visa-at-peepul-centre/
